Day At The Museum

I have been working so much lately (see baggy eyes), that I decided to take a day off and rest. My day started off with a lunch date with a friend in Silver Lake followed by a trip to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). I hadn't been to a museum in so long, it felt very refreshing and I left the exhibition feeling inspired.
I wanted to feel comfortable on my day off, so I went with this super comfy romper which I paired it with my favorite sandals at the moment.
I had an awesome time on my day off. I recommend you to check out the exhibition, if in the area.  :)

I am clearly obsessed with cobalt blue. ;)

Hope everyone has an amazing weekend!!!

Weekend Wedding

Dress: Finders Keepers | Shoes: Zara (similar here) | Belt: Topshop

Over the weekend I went to a friends wedding over at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch. I was working all day that day so when I got home I didn't really have much time to get ready. I remembered that I bought this dress months ago and never had a chance to wear it, so I quickly put this on and left. I love how simple this dress, but, yet so flirty and classy all at the same time. I paired it with red shoes for a pop of color. The dress has a tight silky underskirt, so when it got really windy I wasn't too worried about it blowing up. It is important to feel comfortable at this type of events that go on for hours into the night. I was very happy with my choice. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

The Simple Things

Shirt: H&M (similar here and here) | Shorts: Zara (similar here and here) | Sandals: Zara (similar here) | Handbag: Zara (similar here)

After posting this, I realized how much I've actually been shopping at Zara lately. I am very petite and it becomes very difficult for me to find fitting clothes, so once I find a place where the clothes fit me well, I go a little crazy. I especially love their shoes for their comfort and reasonable prices, not to mention their uniqueness. However, I am going to expand onto other stores to add variety to my closet. Suggestions or comments of where you find clothes that fit your body would be very helpful.

Thanks for reading!! :)
